Laura Neumann
General Manager
Ms. Neumann joins GGCR after her most recent position of Chief of Staff/Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Colorado Springs from December 2011 to March 2014.
She has received an official Resolution of Appreciation from the City of Colorado Springs for her dedicated services to its Citizens in February 2014. She is a 2014 graduate of the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute and is the recipient of the 2012 Brava Donna Award from the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the Regional Business Alliance.
Ms. Neumann previously spent 24 years with Benchmark Hospitality International. During her tenure, she served seven years at Cheyenne Mountain Resort and The Country Club of Colorado as Vice President and General Manager. She secured the AAA Four-Diamond award for the first time in property’s history and achieved “Best Companies to Work for in Colorado”. She has served on the boards of the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association, Boys and Girls of the Pikes Peak Region and several other local organizations. She received the Colorado Springs Business Journal Women of Influence award in 2011.
Prior to her assignment in Colorado Springs, Ms. Neumann successfully opened and transitioned over 20 domestic and international hotel, conference, and resort properties while strategically improving owner’s asset value for each unique destination.
Ms. Neumann has two children who attend Cheyenne Mountain High School and is active in supporting their academic, athletic and social activities.

Scott Marble
Assistant General Manager
Scott Marble began his hospitality career twenty years ago at The Mirage in Las Vegas as a Guest Service Agent. A promotion to supervisor came within less than a year, then a promotion to Assistant Hotel Manager, and finally the Senior Assistant Front Office Manager where he oversaw a staff of 100 employees in a 3044 room casino hotel. With an opportunity from Cheyenne Mountain Resort in 1999, Scott moved to Colorado Springs with his wife, Holly (Mauro), a native of Colorado Springs and former principal ballerina with Nevada Ballet Theatre. Scott served as Front Office Manager working to attain the property’s first AAA Four Diamond Award and its continuation through 2015. Promoted to Director of Revenue Management & Individual Travel in 2005 he played a key role in developing systems to re-position this conference center hotel into new markets. He was promoted to Director of Rooms in 2008 and helped the property earn its recognition as “Best Companies to Work for in Colorado” as well as oversee an $8M room renovation. Named Benchmark Resorts & Hotels Revenue Manager of the Year in 2007, he was also Colorado Hotel & Lodging’s Sales Manager of the Year in 2006, and Colorado Springs Visitor and Convention Bureau Manager of Year in 2005. Born and raised in New Hampshire, Scott holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management from the University of New Hampshire. While studying at UNH he found he had a keen interest in the performing arts, particularly classical ballet, and studied them intensely as well. Scott does keep a toe in the world of ballet working with his wife, who is a well-known teacher in the area dance community, helping to pass on a love for the art to future generations through teaching, coaching, stage managing and performing on occasion. Besides the performing arts, Scott delights in the company of dogs, particularly Italian Greyhounds, enjoys the challenges of physical fitness and the tranquility of gardening.

Pat Cone
Director of Membership & Special Projects
Pat Cone joins GGCR after her most recent position of Special Projects Director for KOAA-TV. She began her career in broadcasting in 1987 as assistant to the General Manager. She held the role of Special Projects/Community Affairs Director since 2002 and had previously been sales assistant and administrative assistant to the General Manager. Pat has been an integral part of our community for many years. She was named the 2006 Broadcast Citizen of the Year by the Colorado Broadcasters Association, Girl Scouts Woman of Distinction, American Cancer Society Volunteer of the Year and American Heart Association Pulse Award winner. Currently, she serves as President of Artemis, Discover Goodwill Board of Directors and on Parkview Medical Center Board of Directors, as well as volunteers for several non-profit organizations. She has worked with the senior management of all Southern Colorado area hospitals, the City of Colorado Springs and Pueblo, the Pikes Peak Center, UCCS, the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies and Governor Hickenlooper. Pat is married to Tom Cone, a local commercial real estate broker, and developer.

Tracey Kalata
Assistant Director of Membership
Tracey moved to Colorado in 1977. She attended Rampart High School and graduated from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs with a degree in communication. She has been in membership sales for more than 18 years in the Colorado Springs area. Before joining Garden of the Gods Club in 2007, she worked for the Country Club of Colorado. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family and ski in the Colorado Rockies.

Lee Reijgers
Director of Sales
Lee is proud to call Colorado Springs home after moving here from St. Louis, MO., in 1994. A graduate of UCCS with a B.A. in International Business, Lee has always looked to hospitality as his career. He dedicated 19 years at Cheyenne Mountain Resort with the last 14 years building upon his sales skills and worked his way up from Business Development Specialist, to upon his departure in August 2014, as Director of Group Sales. Lee then spent 10 months developing the construction and pre-opening sales and marketing efforts for the 48 room Lodge and Villas at Flying Horse. Lee and his wife Jessica, have two daughters, Mikayla and Kinsley, and a Yorkie, Bella.

Scott Leifer
Director of Tennis
Scott Leifer started playing tennis at the age of seven and loves to share his passion of tennis with all the children and adults he coaches. He comes to us from the Country Club of Colorado. Scott is a stroke technician and relies on coaching mental toughness. He has molded many junior players into successful athletes and college students; his life lessons turn them into great individuals to thrive in whatever endeavor they choose. These skills will make him a fantastic asset to the Club and Member’s Tennis Program. Scott is the happily married to his wife, Shannon and is a father to three children, Savannah, Samson and Scarlet. He also has two dogs, Solo and Sylvie.

Rich Parker, PGA
Director of Golf
Rich Parker comes to us from Rocky Mount, North Carolina where he has been the Head Golf Professional at Benvenue Country Club for the past 15 years. Along with substantial professional golf management experience, he brings great enthusiasm and vision to our operation and tournament programs. Rich and his wife Beth have three children: Meredith, John and Andrew.

Chuck Frye
Director of Engineering
Chuck joined GGCR from Cheyenne Mountain Resort where he served as Assistant Director of Facilities. He is a Journeyman Electrician and a certified Facility Management Professional. Chuck lives in Colorado Springs with his lovely wife and two daughters.

Krystyna Pudlo
Director of Housekeeping
Krystyna moved to the United States from Poland 20 years ago and began her work in the hospitality industry by working for Marriott. After 15 years with that company, she and her husband moved to Colorado Springs in 2001, and she started working for Garden of the Gods Club. When Krystyna is not working, she enjoys cooking and traveling to visit her children and grandchildren, who live out-of-state.

Joshua Smith
Accounting Manager
Joshua Smith, who is from Virginia Beach, Virginia, graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He has worked as an accountant and tax professional at CPA firms in both Virginia and Colorado. Joshua grew up surfing, fishing, and boating on the East Coast before graduating college and moving to Colorado. Since his recent move to the mountains, has has enjoyed hiking, snowboarding, and sightseeing all over Colorado. Other activities he enjoys include golfing, gardening, and spending time with his family.
